Giveaway.

Hey Lindsey:)-
You won!

Thanks for all of your helpful comments!
Hope you all have a wonderful pre-holiday weekend.  I know I'm gonna go get a wreath
and some lights. Find some candles for Advent.  Ask Dave to make a fire.
Can't wait to cozy up this place for Christmas.
(Especially since it's 4:19pm and practically dark.)

Popping In.

I've spent the last few days gallivanting around with a visitor from the south....driving along the coast, eating fresh ice cream, exploring, thrifting & enjoying late-night fellowship. We ended her sweet visit here last night with dark chocolate & conversation at Moonstruck....can't complain about any of THAT.

Meanwhile, over the weekend a new typography print was posted over at Beautifully Rooted. It's a free printable, so go on over and grab yourself a copy:)...and ponder the comforts of our Lord this Monday!

Love is in the Air.

I just posted a little printable set of cards, so I wanted to share them here.:).
And while we're on the subject of the shop.....
Did you know you can follow ConsiderLilies on Facebook? I promise not to fill up your feed with my updates:).
And I'm always pinning something over at Pinterest, so I added a link to that in the sidebar as well.
And, I've updated the 'ole blog a little bit. Did you notice? It felt like a good "January-start-with-a-clean-slate" kind of thing to do:).

Mmmmk. Enough of that.
Now back to cleaning up my crazy house (while it's quiet) & starting some soup. Happy Tuesday!

The Aforementioned Announcement.

Howdy!
I am *just a little* giddy writing about this today.

mmmk. Did you remember that I have an etsy shop??:). I don't talk too much about that on here lately....mainly because this year has been full of little lives, and new life, and not-so-little moves across the country. However, I do still have my shop and I've been pleased to keep it stocked and to fill orders every now and then this year for typography prints as well as invites, custom work, etc. It's such a fun project for me!

Did you also remember that last year I filled my shop with Christmas cards and sought to use these designs to provide affordable, cute cards while simultaneously assisting adoptive families in fund-raising??
WELL, I'm excited to announce that I'm going to be continuing these efforts again this holiday season and expanding to design for Life Made Lovely Designs! I know you probably are not thinking about Christmas yet (I don't blame you), but you still have to go and check out the Life Made Lovely shop (which has been totally re-vamped as of today!) and meet Heather. There are lots of great products there! This year, 70% of the proceeds from Consider Lilies holiday card sales will benefit adoptive families, so keep this idea in the back of your mind for when you take that awesome Christmas photo that you decide to send to everyone you've ever met.

One last thing....if you are adopting or know someone who is adopting that may want to benefit from this, please contact me at laura.considerlilies@gmail.com.

Weekend Roundup.

We got lots of family time this weekend with no big plans and it was DELIGHTFUL.

Friday we ate dinner out as a family, and then hung around the house for a laid-back Saturday. Dave (my awesome manly man) repaired our leaky tub, while I put these (among others) up in my Etsy shop....
I also felt the baby move for the first time on Saturday! I could hardly believe it since I am just barely 14 weeks. Such an amazing moment...I remember where I was the first time I felt each of the kids before, too.

Sunday, our pastor preached about joy in serving and this was such a highlight. I can have a such hard time with completing parenting and home tasks consistently with JOY, and his wisdom and encouragement was so convicting and faith-building. I am so thankful for our church & God's word & the gospel....grace for failure, hope for change!

Then, Dave and I carved the pumpkin & ate roasted seeds while the kids slept. After that, it was costumes, candy, cider, the fire pit, and neighbors & friends...
....fall at its finest!
Hope it was a happy weekend for you & yours....
