Today I'm thankful for the promises of God. I've been encouraged by some of these lately, and desire to cling to them more! I'm freshly aware of the power they have to actually change me and the way I view my circumstances. I'm thankful for God's Word!
"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
2 Cor 12:9

Heb 13:5
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:9
a bruised reed he will not break, and a faintly burning wick he will not quench; he will faithfully bring forth justice.
Isaiah 42:3
I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. I and the Father are one.
John 10:28-30

Great verses. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLaura, I've really been encouraged by your blog, and I am so glad to have come across it a few weeks ago. Thank you for sharing new perspectives on the big and small things that our King has created and provided. There is so much beauty all around us that we often miss, but it is evident, through your writing and photographs, that you apprectiate it!
ReplyDeleteIn Christ,
Lindsey
Beautiful promises, thank you for speaking truth and reminding me of them. Love that ESV bible; I have the same one in a different color. it is my most treasured possession. AND the Paul Miller book is amazing.
