Summer board update.

Here is an updated picture of our summer to-do list....
Everything has not gone perfectly, but I've been really surprised how often Dave and I find ourselves asking, "What should we do today?" and then saying "Let's cross something off the board!" I think its helped me fight laziness a little and make some memories as a family.....

Some stuff is still on there just because its ongoing. And I still have quite a few things left to do, which makes me wonder why so many people are already anticiapting fall. Don't they know we still have to make homemade ice cream? And key lime pie? and pull out the sprinkler?

Yesterday, we crossed off "popscicles on the porch."
It was a poor attempt at memory-making because the porch lasted about three minutes given all the mosquitoes. But she loved it....
