The forest is still there.

Dave and I got to go camping together last week. Since we were without kids, we got to jump in the water (I didn't last long- it was freezing) and hop on rocks and wake up to the mountain air.


Its not so often that we get to spend time outside because it's just harder with babies. We live in the city, and aside from our occasional hike (that usually involves wearing a child), I think I can easily forget how peaceful it can be to sit by a stream in a forest. You almost just forget that places like that exist.

But, just so you know....the forest is still there.
And I am in love with Dave Mann.

    Lovely images, and I am *so* jealous. We used to camp all the time when we lived in Oregon. Now that we are back south, it looks like we may have to wait until it gets a bit cooler. Know any good places? We live in Athens, GA.
