It's another snow day in these parts....
So I've been working on this beauty...
...and enjoying a quiet, productive, restful week at home.
I'm pretty pessimistic when I think about enjoying January and February, but so far I've been pleasantly surprised.
Last night, we hibernated for family night....ate pizza and played a game and watched our kids get a little older right before our eyes. My hero of a husband even stopped to bring home cherry pie for his pregnant wife that couldn't stop bringing up a slice of that stuff in conversation after conversation. I ate two servings:).
So, no. No winter blues around here....for now. Here's to hoping....

  1. I love what you're knitting. I can knit the basics but the more complicated patterns are way over my head.

  2. That sounds like a perfect night together :)
Is it a cowl that you're knitting? Or a hat? I don't know much about knitting, but I have always wanted to learn and think it is a valuable skill. I always enjoy reading your blog. It is so encouraging. Hope your family has a special new year, and that you will know God more and more like the brightening of the sun.
