Bedroom B & A

I am finally getting around to posting some pictures of our bedroom "redo." There is (obviously) nothing groundbreaking here, but it was a fun little project to focus on our room and try to make it a relaxing space for me and Dave. As you may be able to tell from the "before," our room had become a dumping ground for the whole house and hodge-podge of random furniture and knick-knacks.

It's amazing how easy it can be (for me, at least) to let a bunch of random junk fill up a room....and how refreshing it can be just to paint some furniture, weed through the junk, and simplify.
Here is a print that I made for our room...thinkin' 'bout my love....and how I'd go anywhere with him. (oh. so. true.)
The whole thing happened over a couple of months, on a tiny amount of money, but it makes a nice retreat at the end of the day that I am more motivated to keep organized and clean. Hope you enjoy!

  1. I think your bedroom redo has inspired me. I related to you saying that your bedroom became a "dumping ground". I'm amazed at the things piled up in my room right now. And it is definitely the last room in the house that I ever clean. Maybe I'll make my room the next project.
I think your room turned out great! I love the print you made, and I'm still coveting that shelf Dave made...

  5. So pretty. Love it. Love the yellow pillows. I am in the middle of my dumping ground master bedroom. Our house is really tiny and our bedroom especially. I just got us down to one dresser. Planning on some paint and some freshing up too. Been on a clutter purdge. Yours looks so refreshing.
